Ethiopia and Eritrea Restored Their Relations After 20 Years

Ethiopia and Eritrea, two neighboring African countries, have abandoned the ambiguity on two decades and announced to open a closed embassy in two-way relationship with each other.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed described the details of the meeting with Eritrea President Isaias Afwerki on Sunday and said that both the countries have announced to restore diplomatic relations which were terminated by both countries for two decades. On the official TV of Ethiopia during the speech statement, Prime Minister Ahmed said that after the talks, we have announced to open the embassy in each other country. They have also released pictures of interviews and talks of meeting on TV channels, where both the Prime Minister seems happy for restoration of their relations .
