Saudi Government Passes a Strict Law Against Umrah Visitors Who Stay After their Visa Expires

The Saudi government issued a warning for the Umrah visitors who stay longer than the visa period. The 50,000 Riyal penalty can be received and six months in Saudi Arabia prison. License registered tour operators will be canceled.

Islamabad's Ministry of Religious Affairs on Thursday, press released a notice from Saudi Arabia, which said that the Saudi Directorate of Saudi Arabia has restricted persons who come as Umrah visitors but extend their stay gain employment in Saudi Arabia. Umrah Visitor should try to avoid this situation otherwise will be charged for a fine of 50,000 rupees from such visitors , while performing other acts. Before deported to his/her country he/she will be imprisoned for six months in addition to the payment of a penalty. There will be more punishment for non-payment of fine of 50,000 Riyal. Related to disappearing of Umrah Visitors , tour operators will be responsible their tour operator's license can be canceled and according to schedule, if visitors are not returned, more strict action can be taken against tour operators.
